I wish I would have had a Portuguese grandma! My grannie’s cooking was pretty good, but she wasn’t Portuguese. Sigh! Carmel popcorn balls can’t compete with Portuguese sweet bread.
When the bread is made traditionally for Easter and has the eggs tucked into it, how does that work? Raw eggs? They then have to be pulled out and peeled, then to be eaten? Boiled and peeled eggs put into the bread?
